The birthplace of Michael Dolan is Oklahoma City. When he was ten years old, he filmed Summer of ’76, a remake of Summer of ’42 (1971), which sparked his passion in films. At seventeen, he left school to pursue a career as an actor in New York. At the age of 20, he made his off-Broadway stage debut in Albert Innaurato’s play Coming of Age in Soho in 1985, followed by two TV appearances.
