Dane Mathias Boe is a badminton player who was born on July 11, 1980. In addition to becoming the 2012 Summer Olympics silver medalist, he was the 2015 European Games gold medalist and the 2012 and 2017 European champions. In Kunshan, China, for the 2016 Thomas Cup, he joined the Danish winning squad.

Career In the men’s doubles division alongside Carsten Mogensen, he took home the silver medal at the 2006 European Championships.
2010 saw Mogensen and Boe win the Taipei Superseries Final as well as the Danish and French Open titles. Mogensen and Boe won the All England Open a year later.

In the men’s doubles at the 2012 Olympics, he and Mogensen took home the silver medal.
In the 2013 World Championships, he and Mogensen won the silver medal, however they were defeated in the final by Muhammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan.

Boe declared in February 2020 that the Olympics or the Thomas Cup would be his final competition; however, in April 2020, at the age of 39, he made the decision to end his career as a professional badminton player. He disclosed that he has been psychologically overworked lately, both during training and competition.
He is the India national badminton team’s men’s doubles coach at the moment.

After spending over a decade together, Taapsee and Mathias have made the decision to be married. According to reports, the grand wedding is scheduled for the final week of March in Udaipur.
The Danish badminton champion and the actress have been together for almost ten years. It looks that her family and close friends will be present for what would presumably be a small wedding.
