Masaba Gupta, an Indian fashion designer and actress, was born on November 2, 1989, and runs her own brand, House of Masaba.
Masaba Gupta Childhood
Masaba Gupta was raised in Mumbai and was born in 1989 . Her parents are Indian actress Neena Gupta and West Indies cricketer Viv Richards. Her mother brought her up after moving the family from New Delhi to Mumbai because her parents never got married. Masaba Gupta saw her late maternal grandfather as a father figure. After turning 20, she made contact with her father again, and the two of them are now very close.

Masaba Gupta began training for tennis at the age of eight, but gave up when she was sixteen. Her “Wanderess” Lakme Fashion Week 2014 collection was “inspired by novelist Roman Payne’s doe-eyed gipsy girl character, Saskia” from The Wanderess. Gupta has gained recognition for giving each collection a unique and artistic moniker.
Modernity gets the upper hand in Gupta’s design aesthetic, which is characterised as a fusion of traditional and contemporary elements. She is well-known for her unusual designs, feminine drapes and silhouettes, and use of silk, chiffon, cotton, and exquisite embroidered work in her ethnic clothing for ladies.
Gupta and Maybelline New York worked together in 2016 to create a line of clothing based on a new lipstick brand the firm was introducing; however, the project was abandoned due to a number of administrative issues. Masaba Gupta has said that her Stylista collection is her greatest regret in her professional life.
Masaba Gupta was assigned to represent India at an exhibition featuring redesigned trucker jackets by Levi’s in 2017. She decided to utilise her trademark cow theme. A redesign by Justin Timberlake and other celebs was also on display. Gupta holds the distinction of being the first Indian fashion designer to host an Instagram fashion show. She states that WhatsApp accounts for over 60% of her sales.
Masaba Gupta Individual Life
In a civil ceremony, Gupta wed Madhu Mantena, a film producer, in 2015. The couple declared their trial separation at the end of 2018. September 2019 saw the official divorce of the pair. On January 27, 2023, she wed Satyadeep Mishra, who portrayed her ex-husband in Masaba Masaba.
