Indian cricket player Mohammed Siraj was born on March 13, 1994, and he currently plays right-arm fast bowling for the Indian national team. Siraj was born into a Muslim family in Hyderabad, Telangana on March 13, 1994. His mother Shabana Begum is a homemaker, while his father Mohammed Ghaus drove an auto rickshaw. Mohammed Ismail, his older brother, works as an engineer.

On November 15, 2015, Siraj made his first-class debut while playing for Hyderabad in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy competition, under the guidance of Karthik Udupa. On January 2, 2016, he played in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy event for the first time in Twenty20. Mohammed Siraj was Hyderabad’s top wicket-taker in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy competition, with 41 wickets at an average of 18.92.

With 23 dismissals in seven matches, he was the top wicket-taker in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy in February 2018. Mohammed Siraj was included in the Indian Twenty20 International (T20I) team for their series against New Zealand in October 2017. On November 4, 2017, he took wicket of Kane Williamson in his first T20I match for India against New Zealand. He finished with figures of 1 wicket for 53 runs from four overs.
Mohammed Siraj was included in the Indian Twenty20 International (T20I) team for the 2018 Nidahas Trophy in February of that year. Mohammed Siraj was included in the India Test team for their series against the West Indies in September 2018, however he did not see any action. Marnus Labuschagne was the first player he took out in a test. In the fourth Test of the series against Australia in January 2021, Siraj claimed his first five-wicket haul in Test cricket history. Siraj played a significant part in the India vs. New Zealand ODI series in January 2023. In the first ODI, he claimed four wickets, which enabled the side to win by a score of twelve runs.
Siraj rose to the top of the ICC ODI Bowlers Rankings on January 21, 2023.
Siraj was picked to play for India on August 21, 2023, and his name was added to the 15-man squad that the BCCI released prior to the 2023 Asia Cup.

In the Asia Cup final on September 17, 2023, Siraj tied Chaminda Vaas’s record of capturing five wickets in sixteen deliveries against Bangladesh during the 2003 World Cup by becoming the second fastest bowler to capture six wickets in One Day Internationals. In addition to finishing with a career-high 6/21, he became the first Indian player to take four wickets in an over.
Mohammed Siraj Indian Premier League
For 2.6 crores, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team acquired him in February 2017 in preparation for the 2017 Indian Premier League. The Royal Challengers Bangalore purchased him in the January 2018 IPL auction.
