Gurmeet Choudhary, an Indian actor and martial artist, was born in Bhagalpur, Bihar, on February 22, 1984. He is recognised for his performances as Yash Suraj Pratap Sindhina in Punar Vivaah – Zindagi Milegi Dobara, Maan Singh Khurana in Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi, and Rama in Ramayan.

Gurmeet Choudhary competed in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 in 2012 and won the competition. He also competed in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 and Nach Baliye 6, where he finished as the first runner-up in each. His feature film debut was in Khamoshiyan, a psychological horror film from Fox Studio.

Gurmeet Choudhary Career
In the 2009 television series Ramayan, Gurmeets played Rama against Debina Bonnerjee, who played Sita, and this is how he first rose to fame. With his then-fiancée, Debina Bonnerjee, who also portrayed Sita in the Ramayan, Choudhary took part in the reality series Pati Patni Aur Woh. Following this programme, he costarred with Drashti Dhami in Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi as the business tycoon Maan Singh Khurana. Alongside Kratika Sengar, he played the principal character of Yash Sindhia in the television series Punar Vivah.
With choreographer Shampa Sonthalia, Gurmeet Choudhary competed in and won the fifth season of the well-known dance competition Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Along with his Ramayan co-star and wife Debina Bonnerjee, whom he married in 2011, he participated in the dancing competition Nach Baliye 6 and placed first runner up. Pratik Utekar created the choreography for them. He took part in the fifth season of the action reality series Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, where he finished as the first runner-up.
Gurmeet Choudhary made his debut in the Bollywood film business in 2015 when Fox Studios India and Vishesh Films cast him as Jaidev in the psychological thriller Khamoshiyan. He has martial arts training as well.
