Professional Years 2006–2008: Career Starts and Bollywood Debut

Started singing “Main Hoon Hero Tera” for Hero in 2015, followed by “Kwahishein” for Calendar Girls and “Tumhe Aapna Banane Ka” for Hate Story 3, which was composed by his brother Amaal Malik. He sung the later one alongside Neeti Mohan. In addition, he performed the Baman-composed song “Wajah Tum Ho” for Hate Story 3. “Yaar Indha Muyalkutti” by D Imaan was sung by him. With Arista Records, Malik collaborated on his new English song “You” in 2022, which helped him win the Best India Act title at the 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards.
