Born on June 14, 2001, Sreeleela, often known by her alternate spelling Sree Leela, is an American actress of Indian descent who primarily appears in Telugu and Kannada films. Sreeleela started out as a child artist in 2017 and went on to play a major part in the Kannada film Kiss in 2019. Sreeleela also acted in the Telugu movie Dhamaka (2022) and Pelli SandaD (2021).

Sree Leela was raised in Bangalore, India, after being born on June 14, 2001 into a Telugu family in Detroit, Michigan, US. Swarnalatha, her mother, works as a gynecologist in Bangalore. Industrialist Surapaneni Subhakara Rao and Swarnalatha were wed, and after their divorce, Swarnalatha gave birth to Leela. Leela started Bharatanatyam dancing lessons when she was a young child. 2017–2020: The formative years
In the 2017 film Chitrangada, Leela made her screen debut as a younger Sindhu Tolani character. After seeing Leela’s photos on social media that cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda had taken, director A. P. Arjun decided to cast her in his 2019 film Kiss. Despite having links in Telugu cinema, the actress has indicated that she decided to begin her career in Kannada-language films because she grew up in Bangalore.

The Hindu’s Sangeetha Devi referred to the movie as a “costly showreel” and said that although Roshan and Leela were the main actors, they didn’t have chemistry.

Leela had the lead role in the Kannada romance comedy By Two Love in 2022. The Times of India’s Sunayana Suresh praised Sreeleela’s performance, saying: “Her role offers her more than just eye candy in a movie, so she steals the show.” She really pops in the poignant moments.” The New Indian Express’s Sharadhaa thought it was “a delight to watch” her in the movie.
