Indian actress Samyuktha Hegde primarily appears in Tamil and Kannada films. Under Rishab Shetty’s direction, she made her acting debut in the Kannada film Kirik Party, starring opposite Rakshit Shetty. Hegde was chosen to play a secondary female role in the comedy-drama Kirik Party, directed by Rakshit Shetty, in 2016. The producers were impressed by her Facebook page and invited her to an audition, which she later declined.[Reference required] The movie was a huge commercial success as well as receiving positive reviews from critics.
A reviewer for The Times of India wrote that “Samyuktha Hegde, as the bubbly Aarya, has a tough act to follow given the peppy first half and impresses by holding her own in crucial scenes”, while a reviewer for The New Indian Express felt that Hegde “outshone in the film along with the main character Karna.” Hegde received praise for her performance as Shetty’s love interest.
