Indian model and actress Sakshi Agarwal has acted in a number of Kannada and Malayalam films in addition to Tamil films. Sakshi Agarwal started out as a marketing consultant before pursuing acting and gaining notoriety through part-time modelling assignments. She has now accepted a number of leading and supporting parts in South Indian films. Sakshi Agarwal also participated in Bigg Boss Tamil 3, a reality TV program in Tamil.
Sakshi Agarwal Career
Agarwal, a native of Nainital, attended Good Shepherd Convent in Chennai, St. Joseph’s College of Engineering for his bachelor’s degree in information technology, and Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship for his MBA. After that, she decided to become a marketing consultant, and in 2010 she worked for Infosys after first working for Tata Consultancy Services. Sakshi was approached by a modelling recruiter who connected her to ad directors after she participated in a charity fashion show for a friend. Sakshi then began accepting weekend commercial projects and began modelling for magazines, TV shows, and print ads.

Sakshi Agarwal costarred with Suriya in an advertisement for Malabar Gold, and in January 2013, she decided to leave Infosys to pursue an acting career. After that, in order to get ready for the movie business, Agarwal worked on acting with Ratan Thakore Theatre Group, studied dance with Shiamak Davar, and shot for a video album called Jillinu Oru Kalavaram. She looked for acting roles in the Kannada and Tamil film industries, landing her first movie roles in the beginning of 2013.
Director Tejaswi first cast her in the Kannada movie Heddari, which she finished shooting by August 2013. Her first theatrical release was Atlee’s Raja Rani (2013), in which she played a small role in a single scene. Her first release was a little-known Tamil telefilm called No Parking.
Two of her early films, Heddari and Prathap Gowda’s projected bilingual Kannada-Tamil feature Karaab Story, were never released. In the Kannada comic drama Software Ganda (2014), she played an office worker in her first feature film. Sakshi Agarwal played a number of different roles as the lead in several low-budget Tamil films in 2015 and 2016.
Following a three-week intense session at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute at the beginning of 2017, Agarwal has been cast in the independent English film Cherubs. Sakshi later made an appearance as Rajinikanth’s Hindi-speaking daughter-in-law in Pa. Ranjith’s Kaala (2018). Agarwal stated that she was thrilled to get chosen for the movie during her three unsuccessful auditions for the part. Later, in the comic drama Orayiram Kinakkalal (2018), she made her screen debut in Malayalam cinema, playing the devoted wife of Biju Menon’s character.
In the horror-thriller Cindrella, directed by Vinoo Venkatesh and starring Raai Laxmi, Agarwal played the lead female role in 2021. Critics have given the movie very positive reviews, and Agarwal is praised for her role. Sakshi Agarwal competed in Star Vijay’s Bigg Boss Tamil 3 in 2019, losing the least amount of votes, and being eliminated on Day 49. Sakshi Agarwal also appears in the movie Bagheera, which stars Prabhu Deva and her male buddy Gopinath Ravi, the winner of Rubaru Mr. India 2021.
