Saba Azad, an Indian actress, theatre director, and musician, was born on November 1, 1985, as Saba Singh Grewal. Saba Azad is half of the electro-funk duo Madboy/Mink, located in Mumbai. In 2008, she made her Bollywood debut in the independent film Dil Kabaddi, playing the major role of Raaga.

Saba Azad gained notoriety for playing the lead in the 2011 romantic comedy Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge. Saba Azad also portrayed Dingo in the Ladies Room web series from Y-Films in 2016.
Saba Azad Early Life
Azam was born in Delhi to a mother from Kashmir and a father from Punjab. Saba Azad is the famous theater actor Safdar Hashmi’s niece. Azad was raised in a theatrical household and began participating in stage shows with Safdar Hashmi’s Jana Natya Manch at an early age. Saba Azad collaborated with actors Habib Tanvir, MK Raina, GP Deshpande, and NK Sharma. In addition, she received training in contemporary dance styles, jazz, Latin, classical ballet, and Odissi. Saba Azad performed both inside and outside of the nation, in places like Nepal, England, and Canada, while traveling with her Odissi master, Kiran Segal.

2008 saw her make her Bollywood debut in Dil Kabaddi, directed by Anil Senior, starring opposite Rahul Bose. Saba Azad starred with newcomers Nishant Dahiya and Saqib Saleem in the Y-Films Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge as Preity Sen.
Azad is a well-known vocalist and musician in the Indian indie music scene. Saba Azad founded the hugely successful electronic band Madboy/Mink in 2012 alongside musician and actor Imaad Shah.
In addition to directing her debut play, Lovepuke, which debuted in September 2010 at NCPA’s experimental theater, Azad founded her own theater company, The Skins, in 2010.
