Ronjini Chakraborty Individual Life

On December 8, 1992, Ronjini was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, into a middle-class family. She received seven years of training in Indian classical music during her teenage years. Her first love was acting, but her mother wanted her to be a singer. She decided on acting as her career for this reason. It was during her time in college that she began her acting career. She became involved in the theater and performed in a number of plays, including “The Lesson” by Eugene Ionesco, “No Exit” by Jean-Paul Sartre, “The Home Coming” by Harold Pinter, “The Goat” by Edward Albee, and “The Comedy Kitchen,” which Dhruv Mukherjee adopted. She then enrolled in an acting study at the Pune-based Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) to further her acting career. She returned to Kolkata when her training was over.

Ronjini Chakraborty Career

Ronjini Chakraborty moved to Mumbai after working in multiple Bengali movies, such as Tears of Nandigram and Trayadashi. She began holding auditions there and was chosen for TV commercials. She appeared in various commercials for Cadbury Celebration, 7Up, Sony Mix Channel, Bharat Nirman, and Yebhi.com.

Ronjini received a screenplay offer for the movie From Sydney with Love at the same time she was shortlisted for a Colors TV daily soap opera, “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha,” in 2011. Consequently, she was unable to participate in the production. She chose the movie out of the two options. She appeared in the Channel V sitcom Paanch 5 Wrongs Make A Right in 2013. Ronjini Chakraborty has also acted in short films, including Vijayeta Kumar’s (2014) “Blouse,” Arun Sukumar’s (2013) “Just Friends,” and Abhinandan Gupta’s (2011) “A Perfect Day.” She has acted in a number of movies, including Article 15 (2019), Tumbbad (2018), Simmba (2018), and Autohead (2016). She has performed in several Hindi TV shows, such as Stories by Rabindranath Tagore (2015), Man’s World (2015), Not Out (2016), PA Gals (2017), Lalbazaar (2020), and Raktanchal (2020). TVF Pitchers (2022) and The Great Indian Murder (2022).
