Pranitha Subhash Career
In the 2010 Kannada film Porki, Pranitha made her acting debut opposite Darshan. Following the success of Porki, she turned down multiple offers from Kannada films and started being picky about the roles she took on. Eventually, she agreed to feature in the love story Baava, a Telugu film, opposite Siddharth. Pranitha Subhash received universal acclaim for her performance in the movie as a Telugu rustic belle. She later starred alongside Arulnithi in her debut Tamil movie, Udhayan.
After that, she signed up for Saguni, her second Tamil film, which was distributed in Telugu and Tamil and starred Karthi. Her most successful release was Saguni, which debuted in a record 1,150 theatres worldwide.
After that, she starred opposite Duniya Vijay in Jarasandha and Bheema Theeradalli, both of which told the true story of a naxalite. Critics commended Subhash for her depiction of Bheemavva, and she was nominated for a Filmfare award for it. That year, she was given the Santosham award for Bheema Theeradalli. Her next role was in the Kannada movie Whistle, for which she was nominated for a SIIMA award.
Following this, she starred in the Telugu movie Attarintiki Daredi, which debuted in September 2013 and went on to earn over ₹100 crore, making it the highest-grossing Telugu movie ever. Her nominations for other award shows were also secured by it. Other languages are getting remakes of the movie.

She co-starred with Upendra in the Kannada movie Brahma at the same period. She was paired with Manchu Manoj in the film Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda, which starred Raveena Tandon and Mohan Babu. The two pictures did quite well. In late November 2014, she signed to for another Tamil film, Masss, starring Suriya, following a two-year hiatus. She signed on to play Manchu Vishnu in the Telugu movie Dynamite towards the end of 2014.
Pranitha Subhash starred in Mahesh Babu’s Telugu flick Brahmotsavam around the end of June 2015. Pranitha Subhash recently collaborated on the song “Chan Kitthan” with Ayushmann Khurrana. Subhash graduated from Harvard Kennedy School’s executive education programme in December 2020 with a degree in Professional & Leadership Development.
