Actress Pracchi Desai was born in India on September 12, 1988, and has appeared in both Hindi films and television shows. Career and breakthrough in television (2006-2008)
Pracchi Desai was chosen to play the lead in the television drama Kasamh Se, directed by Ekta Kapoor, in 2006. Prachi Desai was paired with TV actor Ram Kapoor in the role of Bani. It was her first time acting.She won multiple prizes for the show, including Best Actress in a Lead Role at the Indian Telly prizes. Desai then made her debut with choreographer Deepak Singh on September 7, 2007, in the Indian version of BBC Strictly Come Dancing, called Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Pracchi Desai portrayed Dr. Ranjana in the Hindi film Forensic, which was released on June 24, 2022. The film was a remake of a Malayalam movie that also starred Vikrant Massey and Radhika Apte. It was disclosed at the Amazon Prime Meeting in 2022 that Desai would be starring in the Telugu version of the supernatural web series Dhootha alongside Parvathy and Naga Chaitanya. Prachi Desai has even promised to play the lead role in the dark fantasy film Kosha, which Abhay Raj Kanwar and Amman Advaita are producing.
