Poonam Dhillon was named cultural ambassador and was a featured speaker at the SAARC business summits in Delhi and Kathmandu. She spoke at the MINDMINE event as well. She took part in a show in 2012 with other celebrities to support Lilavati Hospital’s “Save and Empower the Girl Child” initiative.

Along with industrialist Aneel Murarka and choreographer Samir Tanna, she founded “Poetic Justice Films and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.” in 2014, specialising in event management and film production.

Dhillon joined the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal in 2017 as one of four members, serving as the official body for appeals against the Central Board of Film Certification’s rulings in the Indian film industry. Dhillon became a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party in 2004 and was named vice president of the party’s Mumbai branch in 2019.
