Ohanna Shivanand, an Indian model and actress, was born Shilpa Shivanand on December 10, 1982. Ohanna Shivanand is most known for her two television personas, Dr. Riddhima Gupta and Dr. Shilpa Malhotra in Dill Mill Gayye. Shivanand debuted as an actress in the cinema business of South India. Bezawada Police Station was her debut film. She costarred with Vishnu Manchu in the Mohan Babu-produced telugu film Vishnu in 2003. Ohanna Shivanand debuted in Bollywood as Rashmi Mehra in Ravi Shankar’s film Iqraar by Chance in 2006.
In addition, Shivanand acts on television. Her television career started in 2007 with the medical youth programme Dill Mill Gayye, in which she played Dr. Riddhima Gupta. She experienced “instant success” as it rose to the top of Star One’s schedule.

Shivanand was approached by producer Siddharth Malhotra to return to Dill Mill Gayye in April 2009, following Sukirti Kandpal’s resignation. However, Shivanand demanded a large sum of money, which sparked a disagreement between the two. Following the wishes of her admirers, she made her comeback in June 2010 and took on the role of Dr. Shilpa Malhotra. However, her track ended abruptly. As per the script, Shivanand left the show early in October 2010 due to low viewership and internal conflicts among the cast.
Her part as Meera in the 2012 telefilm Teri Meri Love Stories was produced by BBC Productions. Ohanna Shivanand made a brief appearance in the 2015 episode of Mahisagar on channel BIG magic.
