Actress Nivetha Thomas, who was born in India on November 2, 1995, has worked in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil movies. In the 2008 Malayalam film Veruthe Oru Bharya, she made her screen debut as a child artist, for which she was awarded the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist.

With Gentleman (2016), Nivetha made her Telugu film debut and took home the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu. Chaappa Kurishu (2011), Romans (2013), Jilla (2014), Papanasam (2015), Ninnu Kori (2017), Jai Lava Kusa (2017), 118 (2019), Brochevarevarura (2019), V (2020), Vakeel Saab (2021), and Saakini Daakini (2022) are just a few of the popular films in which Nivetha went on to appear. Nivetha Thomas Childhood

On November 2, 1995, Nivetha was born in Madras, India (now Chennai). Her roots are in the Keralan village of Edoor, in the Iritty taluk. Nivetha Thomas attended the Chennai-based Holy Angels and Montfort Matriculation Schools. She studied at SRM University for a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Nivetha Thomas is fluent in six languages, including English, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu.

Beginnings and cinematic premiere

Nivetha made her acting debut as a young girl in the hit Sun TV series My Dear Bootham. Following that, she portrayed Jayaram’s daughter in Veruthe Oru Bharya, receiving praise for her portrayal. After that, she signed a few Malayalam and Tamil movies, most of which were supporting parts. Two of her Malayalam projects were Thattathin Marayathu (which Sify claimed would be “the biggest box-office hit in the history of Malayalam cinema”) and Chaappa Kurish.

2016–18: Success and début in Telugu

Nivetha made her Telugu film debut in 2016 opposite Nani in the action-thriller Gentleman, which opened to positive reviews and received praise from critics and fans alike. Nivetha Thomas won multiple awards for the role, including the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut (Telugu) at the 6th South Indian International Movie Awards and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu Nomination at the 64th Filmfare Awards South. She then became well-known in Telugu film.

Her second Telugu film release of 2017 was the romantic entertainer Ninnu Kori, which starred Nani once more. The film received positive reviews and was praised for her performance as “pallavi,” which led to her winning her second Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu Nomination at the 65th Filmfare Awards South.

2019: Return

2019 saw the debut of Nivetha as an action thriller 118, starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The film received favourable reviews and was highly acclaimed by critics for Thomas’s remarkable performance in a small but impactful role. She later played with Sree Vishnu in the dark comedy film Brochevarevarura, which premiered to rave reviews and received a lot of praise for her depiction of “mitra,” an academic underachiever who dreams of becoming a classical dancer. The movie went on to become a box office success.

Nivetha played the role of Rajinikanth’s daughter in the 2020 film Darbar. Later same year, she starred in the action film V, directed by Indraganti. In 2021, Thomas made an appearance in Pawan Kalyan’s Telugu version of the Hindi movie Pink, Vakeel Saab. Alongside Regina Cassandra, Nivetha also acted in Saakini Daakini, the Telugu version of the Korean film Midnight Runners, which was directed by Sudheer Varma.
