Born on January 22, 1972, Namrata Shirodkar is an Indian actress, model, producer, and former winner of beauty pageants. Her work in Hindi cinema is what has made her most famous. In 1993, she was crowned Femina Miss India.

Her most well-known roles are in the films Kachche Dhaage (1999), Ezhupunna Tharakan (1999), Vaastav: The Reality (1999), and Pukar (2000), for which she received a nomination for the IIFA Best Supporting Actress Award. On the filming of their 2000 movie Vamsi, Shirodkar got to know Mahesh Babu, an actor in Telugu cinema. Shortly after the filming was completed, they started dating. On February 10, 2005, they tied the knot at the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu while Athadu was being filmed. Shirodkar and her spouse currently reside in Hyderabad. The son and daughter of the couple are their offspring.
