First prominently featured was Naidu in the music video for UMI10’s “Kaliyon Ka Chaman” (2002), an official reworking of Lata Mangeshkar’s 1981 hit song “Thoda Resham Lagta Hai” (which in turn influenced Truth Hurts’ 2002 song “Addictive”). Naidu was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India, on September 19, 1980 . Her mother Purnima was a school teacher, while her father Ethiraj, who works for Air India, was a tennis coach. Sona is her only younger sister. She revealed that once her sister, who used to go with her, gained a job overseas, she asked her mother to resign from her work so that she could accompany her to filming sites.She describes herself as “more of a Mumbaiite” and was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She received a B.Com. degree from Bhavan’s College in Andheri, Mumbai, after attending .Meghna Naidu underwent seven years of training in traditional bharatanatyam. She added that she spent four years teaching tennis in the US.

She met a model coordinator in Chennai when she was eighteen, and she was contacted for a screen test for a feature film. Meghna Naidu was cast in the Telugu movie Prema Sakshi (1999), and then she starred in two Kannada and one more Telugu movies. She later made an appearance in the music video for “Kaliyon Ka Chaman” by UMI10, which she claims was an accident and was directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. The team approached her as she was going with her friend to the video audition. After being requested to submit her photos, she was chosen for the video in a matter of days. She was recognized and “Kaliyon Ka Chaman” became a huge success. After then, she continued to act on stage both inside and outside of India.

With the B-grade film Hawas (2004), she made her Bollywood debut, tackling an adulterous affair. She then went on to portray the lead roles in Rain: The Terror Within… (2005), where she played a blind novelist, and Classic Dance of Love (2005), in which she was a dancer. She portrayed a character with dark undertones in Mashooka. She primarily made cameos in item numbers in South Indian movies throughout her later career.
She also took part in Dancing Queen and Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi on television. In the TV show Jodha Akbar, she portrayed Benazir.
Meghna Naidu Individual Life
Tennis player Luis Miguel Reis and Naidu began dating in 2011 and were wed on December 12, 2016. She travels to India for work, and they both reside in Dubai.
