Indian actress Medha Shankar mainly performs in Hindi films. In 2019, Shankar made her acting debut in the British miniseries Beecham House. She later starred in supporting roles in the Hindi series Dil Bekaraar (2021) and the film Shaadisthan (2021). Her breakout performance came in the biographical drama 12th Fail (2023).

In the same year, she played Eshwari, the youngest sibling, in the critically acclaimed streaming serial Dil Bekaraar.

In the 2022 film Max, Min, and Meowzaki, Shankar played Minara, a girl who breaks up with her lover in favour of an older man. At a number of film festivals, the movie won praise from critics.
Medha Shankar 12th Fail
In 2023, Shankar played UKPSC officer Shraddha Joshi in the drama film 12th Fail, costarring with Vikrant Massey. The movie became a sleeper hit. It turned out to be her breakthrough, gaining her more notoriety.
