Keerthy is the daughter of actress Menaka G. Suresh and film producer G. Suresh Kumar. Keerthy Suresh started out in the early 2000s as a child actress and went on to study fashion design before getting back into the movie business. On October 17, 1992, Keerthy was born in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India (now Chennai). Her mother Menaka is an actress of Tamil descent, while her father G. Suresh Kumar is a Malayali director. Revathy Suresh is her elder sister. Keerthy attended school in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, up till class four. Eleven years following Kuberan, she made her acting debut in the lead role of Priyadarshan’s horror film Geethaanjali.
