Malick was born in Quetta, Pakistan’s Balochistan province, to a Punjabi mother and a Pashtun father .After completing her studies at Government Girls College Quetta, she and her family relocated to Karachi after her father retired. Feroze Khan is Malick’s brother, and Dua Malik is his sister. Her brother-in-law is the singer Sohail Haider. Malick and Shamoon Abbasi were previously wed.
