Indian actress Girija Oak Godbole (née Oak) is well-known for her roles in Jawan (2023), Shor in the City (2010), and Taare Zameen Par (2007). Girija Oak also makes appearances in Marathi and Hindi films.

At the age of fifteen, Oak made her big-screen debut. She acted in several Marathi films, such as Adgule Madgule, Gulmohar, Manini, and Goshta Choti Dongraevadhi.

Navjyot Bandiwadekar’s short film Quarter, which Oak starred in, marked her feature film debut in 2018. The movie had its world premiere in the Court Métrage (Short Film Corner) section of the 71st Cannes Film Festival. It subsequently screened at a number of international film festivals.
Oak was nominated for a Maverick Movie Award in 2018 for Best International Actress and received her first international award for the movie, Best Actress, at the European Cinematography Awards 2018 . Quarter was the first Indian short film to premiere both a poster and a trailer at a public event that was attended by prominent figures from the Indian film industry as well as representatives of the Indian press. On April 10, 2020, the movie received a global digital release.

In the second season of Ladies Special, a Hindi television series on Sony Entertainment Television, Oak portrayed the lead role. Girija Oak advanced to the finals of the well-known singing competition Singing Star.
Girija Oak Individual Life
Girish Oak, a Marathi actor, is the father of Oak. She graduated from Thakur College of Science and Commerce in Kandivali East, Mumbai, with a degree in biotechnology. Girija Oak began appearing in commercials after enrolling in a theatre programme.
Oak and Suhrud Godbole are wed. Girija Oak is the daughter-in-law of Shrirang Godbole, a Marathi actor, dialogue writer, and producer.
