Indian actress Amrita Puri was born on August 20, 1983, and her primary roles have been in web series and Hindi movies. In the romantic comedy-drama Aisha (2010), she made her acting debut. Puri began her professional life as a playwright and actress. with 2010, Puri made her Bollywood film debut with Aisha, starring Rajshree Ojha. Puri played Shefali Thakur, a friend of Kapoor’s titular character in the ensemble romantic comedy-drama, which also costarred Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Ira Dubey, Cyrus Sahukar, Anand Tiwari, Arunoday Singh, and Lisa Haydon. Amrita Puri starred in two web series in 2019: Made in Heaven as Devyani Singh and Four More Shots Please! as Kavya Arora. In the family drama short film Clean (2021), she portrayed Maeher Saluja.
