Amrita Arora Ladak is an Indian actress, model, video jockey (VJ), television presenter, and presenter of Indian films. Her primary film appearances are in Hindi.

Arora was reared as a Roman Catholic after being born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to a Malayali mother, Joyce Polycarp, and a Punjabi father, Anil Arora. Amrita Arora is Malaika Arora’s younger sister.

Amrita Arora finished her secondary schooling at Chembur’s Swami Vivekanand School. Grace Polycarp, her aunt, was the school’s principal.
In 2009, she wed Shakeel Ladak, a businessman in the construction sector. A Christian wedding took place on March 4, 2009, and was followed by a Mehendi ceremony on March 5 and a Muslim Nikah ceremony on March 6. Amrita Arora Career
Arora began her work with MTV as a VJ. In 2002, she made her Bollywood debut in the poorly received movie Kitne Door Kitne Paas, costarring Fardeen Khan. Awara Paagal Deewana, an action comedy, was her first financially successful film. A string of box office failures ensued, including the lesbian romance film Girlfriend (2004), in which she starred opposite Isha Koppikar.[Reference required]
Alongside her sister and former brother-in-law Arbaaz Khan, she sang a special rendition of the song “Deewangi Deewangi” in Farah Khan’s 2007 film Om Shanti Om. She starred alongside Aftab Shivdasani and Celina Jaitley in the films Speed and Red: The Dark Side that same year.[Reference required]
