Actor Vikranth Santhosh was born in India on November 13, 1984, and has acted in Tamil-language films. Vikranth made his screen debut in R. V. Udayakumar’s 2005 romantic drama Karka Kasadara, and he went on to feature in other romantic drama films. After taking part in the Celebrity Cricket League, Vikranth has gone on to engage on more ambitious motion picture projects.
Vikranth Career
In Azhagan (1991), Vikranth made his acting debut as a young performer. After attending Loyola College to study Visual Communication, he acted in his first feature film, Karka Kasadara (2005), directed by R. V. Udayakumar. He then starred in other low-budget films, including Ninaithu Ninaithu Parthen (2007), Mudhal Kanave (2007), and Agathiyan’s Nenjathai Killathe (2008). After that, Vikranth costarred with Vijayakanth in Engal Aasan (2009).
He then worked with Rasu Madhuravan on two films in rapid succession: Goripalayam (2010) and Muthukku Muthaaga (2011), in which he played a villain. Early in the 2010s, Vikranth’s popularity in the Celebrity Cricket League was enhanced by his cricketing contributions, and he started working on more well-known films. In the 2011 film Sattapadi Kutram, which was directed by his uncle S. A. Chandrasekhar, he costarred with Sathyaraj.

In Suseenthiran’s Pandianadu, he made a brief appearance as Vishal’s friend who meets his demise. Starring Vishal, Arya, and Vishnu in a promotional song, Vikranth’s next film Thakka Thakka (2015), directed by his brother Sanjeev, became the actor’s most widely distributed solo movie. After that, Vikranth agreed to play the antagonist in Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Gethu (2016), where he acted as a sniper with a single dialogue line throughout the whole movie.
Vikranth starred in K. V. Anand’s film Kavan in 2017. With Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead, he played a supporting part. As Filmtimes puts it, Vikranth is captivating and unforgettable. The film was a financial hit. The following film was Samuthirakani’s Thondan (2017), in which Vikranth had a major role that he executed with style and comfort. Critics have not been kind to Suseenthiran’s bilingual film Nenjil Thunivirundhal (C/o Surya in Telugu) (2017), which stars Vikranth and Sundeep Kishan. Bakrid, Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu 2, and Suttu Pidikka Utharavu were his films in 2019.
Vikranth Individual Life
Sheela, his mother, performed in Pandian stores. He was directed by his brother Sanjeev in Thakka Thakka (2015). Prior to this, Sanjeev was an actress who acted alongside Abhinayashree in the unfinished movie Beauty. Vikranth is the nephew of Shoba and S. A. Chandrasekhar and the cousin of well-known Tamil actor Vijay. On October 21, 2009, in Chennai, he wed actress Manasa Hemachandran, who is the daughter of late cinematographer Hemachandran and actress Kanakadurga. July 23, 2010, saw the birth of his son. In March 2016, his second son was born.
