Deverakonda Born on May 9, 1989, Vijay Sai, also recognised by his professional name Vijay Deverakonda, is an Indian actor and producer who primarily works on Telugu films.
Vijay Deverakonda is one of the highest-paid performers in Telugu cinema, and he has won multiple awards, including a SIIMA Award, a Nandi Award, and a Filmfare Award. Vijay Deverakonda has been listed in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2018 Nuvvila (2011) was Deverakonda’s feature film debut, and he won recognition for Yevade Subramanyam (2015), a drama about a coming-of-age.

Govardhan Rao and Madhavi welcomed Daverakonda Vijay Sai into the world in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana). Thummanpeta hamlet in the former Mahbubnagar district (now Nagarkurnool) is where his family is from. His father directed television serials but gave them up because of his lack of success.

The romantic comedy Nuvvila (2011), directed by Ravi Babu, marked Deverakonda’s feature film debut. Later, he made a brief appearance in Life is Beautiful (2012), directed by Sekhar Kammula. After meeting Nag Ashwin, he was given a supporting part alongside actor Nani in the 2015 coming-of-age drama Yevade Subramanyam. Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starred in the romantic action drama Dear Comrade, directed by Bharat Kamma, in 2019. Later, he signed on to act in Anand Annamalai’s Hero, which also starred Malavika Mohanan. However, it is said that the movie was shelved once production started.
Deverakonda starred in the romantic drama World Famous Lover by Kranthi Madhav in 2020, which debuted to unfavourable reviews and starred Raashi Khanna, Catherine Tresa, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Izabelle Leite Vijay Deverakonda appeared in the bilingual Hindi-Telugu film Liger in 2022, which was produced and directed by Puri Jagannadh and debuted to a dismal reception. Vijay Deverakonda served as Zomato’s marketing ambassador for meal delivery services. Deverakonda introduced Rowdy Wear, his apparel label, on October 15, 2018. Later in 2020, Rowdy Wear made its Myntra debut.
Deverakonda has contributed to relief efforts, giving money to the relatives of those killed in the Pulwama assault in 2019.
