Tiger Shroff, born Jai Hemant Shroff on March 2, 1990, is an Indian actor who primarily appears in Hindi language films. He made his acting debut in the 2014 action romance Heropanti, for which he received the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Male. He is the son of actors Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Dutt.

The total amount raised for War was 4.76 billion Indian rupees (US$63 million), with 3.18 billion rupees of that amount coming from within India. By earning more than 53.35 crore Indian Rupees on its first day of release than any other Bollywood film in history, War established a new record. It became the highest-grossing Bollywood Indian film of 2019 and one of the all-time highest-grossing Indian films after becoming a massive box office hit.

He reunited with Shraddha Kapoor in the third Baaghi movie, named Baaghi 3, which was released in March 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on movie collections, which were negatively impacted. However, the movie still managed to become the second highest grosser of 2020 and the highest first day opener of 2020 with a worldwide haul of US$17 million and a first day haul of US$2.2 million.

Shroff joined the 8K Miles Media Group-owned Bengaluru Tigers in 2017 as a co-owner and brand ambassador. The Bengaluru Tigers finished third in the inaugural season of the Super Fight League, India’s first MMA league. Shroff was appointed the Prowl brand ambassador in 2018.
