Born on January 9, 1961, Sunil Lahri, sometimes known as Sunil Lahiri, Sunil Lahri is an Indian actor most recognised for his role as Lakshmana in the television series Ramayan (1987– 1988).
Sunil Lahri Individual Life
On January 9, 1961, Lahri was born in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, to Tara Lahri and Shikar Chandra Lahiri, a professor at a medical college. Two younger brothers belong to Lahri.
Lahri travelled to Mumbai after completing his education in Bhopal, where he attended Wilson College in Mumbai and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Lahri has two marriages. Radha Sen was his first wife, from whom he separated. He later wed Bharati Pathak . Krish is the name of his kid.
Lahri gave his father’s corpse to the JK Medical College’s forensics department in Bhopal in 2012. Lahri claims that his father included a note in his will specifying that, upon his death, his body should be given to medical students to aid them in their studies since he recognised the difficulties that students encounter in their studies due to the lack of accessibility to human anatomy.
Sunil Lahri Career
Sunil Lahri costarred with Smita Patil in his debut movie, The Naxalites (1980). Alongside Anuradha Patel, he appeared in the 1985 movie Phir Aayi Barsaat.

Sunil Lahri performed in the 1991 musical Baharon Ke Manzil in a significant capacity. In the 1990 television series Param Vir Chakra, he played 2nd Lieutenant Rama Raghoba Rane. He starred in the movie Janam Kundli in 1995. In the movie, he portrayed Vinod Khanna’s son, Ashwani Mehra. Sunil Lahri had another appearance in the Hindi movie A Daughter’s Tale Pankh in 2017.
In 2020, Lahri stated in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar that he would reprise his part as Ravana in the Ramayana if given the opportunity.
Sunil Lahri received an invitation to the January 2024 consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
