Ravi Dubey Early Years
Dubey was raised in Delhi, India, but he was born in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. His father, Sh. Gyan Prakash Dubey, holds a degree in civil engineering and has held senior managerial positions in a number of real estate companies in the Delhi/NCR area.
Dubey moved from Delhi to Mumbai to pursue a degree in telecom engineering, but he soon began working as a model.

After beginning his career as a model, Dubey went on to become an actor in 2006. Ravi Dubey landed the lead part of Ravi Agarwal in the DD National television series Stree… Teri Kahaani, which was produced by Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar. Later on, he played the little part of “Veer” in the soap opera Doli Saja Ke on Sahara One. His next role was that of Ravi in Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar, where he played the male protagonist.
Reliance, TVS Victor, Mrs. Marino, Gee Pee Mobile, Nestle, ICICI, Action Milano Shoes, Fairever, Santro, and Water Kingdom are just a few of the television commercials that Dubey has worked on. Vinay Rohrra was replaced by Dubey in December 2008 as the male lead in Zed television’s Ranbir Rano. Following the conclusion of the show, Dubey was paired with Sargun Mehta in the soap opera 12/24 Karol Bagh on Zed television.
Success and breakthrough (2010–14)
In the love drama Saas Bina Sasural on Sony Entertainment Television, which aired in October 2010, Dubey played the male lead Tej Prakash Chaturvedi opposite Aishwarya Sakhuja. Dubey began his Bollywood film career while he was still cast in the show; he signed on for the 2011 Hindi film U R My Jaan, directed by Aron Govil.
Dubey took part in Kahani Comedy Circus Ki, a reality-based comedy series on Comedy Circus from Sony Entertainment Television, in January 2012. “I am very excited because I have always loved the show,” Dubey declared. I think humour is the hardest of all, but I haven’t got the chance to try my hand at it yet.
Along with Sargun Mehta, Dubey took part in the fifth season of the celebrity couple dance reality show Nach Baliye on Star Plus television in December 2012. And in the show’s final episode on March 23, 2013, he emerged as the first runner-up. In 2013, Dubey also took part in Nach Baliye Shriman vs. Shrimati, another of the celebrity pair dance reality series.

Beginning in May 2013, Dubey has been presenting television shows. He took over as presenter of Star Plus television’s dance reality show, India’s Dancing Superstar, from Mohit Malhotra. Ravi Dubey was contacted in September 2013 about playing Rajbir in Rashmi Sharma’s Desh Ki Beti Nandini, but he was not cast in the programme. Dubey and Shweta Salve have also made appearances on the ramp show Fashion Ka Jalwa from the Indian Television Academy.
Jamai Raja and other accomplishments (2014–present)
In March 2014, Dubey secured the male lead role in Zed television’s soap opera Jamai Raja. In the drama, he portrays Siddharth “Sid” Khurana, playing opposite Nia Sharma. Grazing Goat Pictures, the production company behind the show, is co-produced by Ashvini Yardi and amazing actor Akshay Kumar. Together with Shabbir Ahluwalia, Dubey hosted the Zed Rishtey Awards, a Zed television event, in December 2014. Dubey took part in the eighth season of Colours daredevil reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 in 2017, placing him as the second runner-up behind winners Shantanu Maheshwari and Hina Kkan.
Along with Dipika Kakar and Asha Negi, Dubey participated in the Colours comedy show Entertainment Ki Raat in November 2017. In addition, he took part in the Star Plus reality show Lip Sing Battle alongside Rithvik Dhanjani, Asha Negi, and his wife Sargun Mehta. Ravi hosted the Colours singing reality competition Rising Star in January 2018. Ravi Dubey also served as host of the Star Plus game show Sabse Smart Kaun in June 2018. In February 2019, Dubey took Aditya Narayan’s place as the host of Zed TV’s Seventh Season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs.

Alongside Nia Sharma, he made his digital debut with the web series Jamai 2.0, a revival of his Zed TV series Jamai Raja. Positive reviews greeted the series when it debuted. Positive reactions were received when the second season was published in February 2021.[Reference required] He is currently performing as the lead in one of the most well-liked and watched web series in India, MatsyaKaand, on mxplayer. Together with his wife Sargun Mehta, he founded Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt Ltd in 2019 and has since co-produced multiple films. Colours TV will begin airing the Dreamiyata Entertainment-produced television series Udaariyaan in March 2021.

On December 7, 2013, Dubey wed Sargun Mehta, an actress. Dubey is a Buddhist adherent of Nichiren Daishonin.
Ravi Dubey stated, “I started practising Buddhism because I sought some knowledge of the turmoil that was occurring in one’s life during a very trying time in my life. My goal was to feel more confident and in alignment with myself. I so began chanting at that point when everything got out of hand.
