Ram Kapoor Childhood And Schooling

He attended Sherwood College in Nainital, Uttarakhand, during his formative years. Acting was Kapoor’s first acting experience at Sherwood College, where he took on the main role in the yearly school theatrical performance of Charley’s Aunt after receiving a challenge and directive from his head captain. Under the guidance and coaching of Amir Raza Hussein, Kapoor discovered his calling in acting.

Following his successful completion of his tenth board examination, Kapoor attended Kodaikanal International School. Following his graduation, Kapoor made the decision to enter the entertainment business. He traveled to Los Angeles, California, with the goal of enrolling at UCLA to get a degree in filmmaking, but instead he enrolled at an acting school in Los Angeles founded by Stanislavski.

In 1997, Kapoor made his television debut in the series Nyaay. He continued with three more shows: Kavita (2000), Sangharsh (1999), and Heena (1998).

Kapoor starred in the well-liked family drama Ghar Ek Mandir in 2000. In the 10-day play The Fifty Days of War – Kargil, which was performed in New Delhi as a memorial to the heroes of the Kargil War, Kapoor collaborated with Amir Raza Hussein once more. Kapoor performed five roles. 2001 saw Kapoor feature in the television series Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai, Rishtey, and in a cameo in the critically acclaimed movie Monsoon Wedding, directed by Mira Nair.

Kapoor starred in movies including Missed Call, Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow, and Devaki in 2005. Ram Kapoor played the lead character of Jai Udai Walia in the television series Kasamh Se in 2006.

After that, Kapoor starred in the soap opera Basera and took part in two reality series, serving as host on Rakhi Ka Swayamwar and contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

In 2010, Kapoor made brief appearances in two motion pictures. The first was the box office hit Karthik Calling Karthik, in which Kapoor portrayed Kamath Sir. The second, Udaan, was produced by Anurag Kashyap and directed by Vikrmaditya Motwane. It received positive reviews and won several awards.

He portrayed Ram Amarnath Kapoor, the male lead, in the 2011 television series Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. The performance of Kapoor was highly praised, and the program became an instant hit. Ram Kapoor starred in Humshakals (2014), Student of the Year (2012), and Agent Vinod (2012), three Bollywood films.

Actress Gautami Kapoor (née Gadgil), his co-star in Ghar Ek Mandir, is Kapoor’s wife. Before getting married on Valentine’s Day in 2003, they had dated for a while after meeting on the show’s sets. They are parents of two kids.
