Rajit Kapur is an Indian actor and director who was born on August 27, 1963, in theater and cinema. Rajit Kapur is well-known for playing Mahatma Gandhi in the 1996 movie The Making of the Mahatma, for which he was named Best Actor in the National Film Awards.
