In Bangalore, India, on September 25, 1981, Azam was born. Rahil Azam is the older of one sister. Azam attended Clarence High School and graduated from B.M.S. Rahil Azam Career
Azam began his professional life as a software engineer. He began his career as a model after moving to Mumbai . In 2001, he made his television debut in the daily soap opera Ek Tukdaa Chaand Ka, playing the romantic boy Akash Kapoor. The protagonist of the tale is a small-town girl who follows her sweetheart into the metropolis only to have him desert her. Later, he made guest appearances in a few episodes of the Star Plus horror series Ssshhhh…Koi Hai. He then performed in Achanak 37 Saal Baad, another horror show. Azam portrayed Rakesh in Bhabhi as well.

2010 saw Azam star as the male protagonist in the drama series Gulaal on Sphere Origins, playing the part of Vasant opposite Manasi Parekh. It tells the tale of Gulaal, a young child who is full of life and energy. Rahil Azam had a special ability to locate water in arid desert areas. A severe and protracted drought has been plaguing a nearby community. After learning of Gulaal’s talent, Vasant sets out to locate Gulaal. Their love eventually grows and they tie the knot.
In the mytho-thriller series Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani on Life OK, starring Arvind Babbal, Azam played the antagonist Dansh, the head of Naagvansh, in 2015. The narrative describes the battle between the Garudas and Naagvansh, in which the Garudas banded together to defend the good Amrit, while the evil Naags came to steal it.

After the show concluded, Azam appeared in Life OK’s miniseries Ek Tha Chander Ek Thi Sudha, which was an adaptation of the well-known 1949 Hindi novel Gunahon Ka Devta by Dharmveer Bharti, in the male lead role of Chander opposite Umang Jain. Rahil Azam portrayed Jayant Dhanrajgir in the Colours TV series Tu Aashiqui from 2017 to 2018. He plays Shivraj “Devguru” Singh in Star Plus’s Dil Jaise Dhadke… Dhadakne Do, which premieres in February 2020.
Rahil Azam began filming Maddam Sir on Sab TV in November 2020, when he played the part of Anubhav Singh, the Lucknow DSP. Rahil Azam was recently featured in Star Bharat’s Dheere Dheere Se, starring Reena Kapoor, in the lead character of Raghav.
