Indian actor Prateik Patil Babbar was born on November 28, 1986, and he primarily works in Hindi films. The late Smita Patil and actor Raj Babbar’s son, he started out as a production assistant before deciding to pursue a career in acting. On the recommendation of director Prahlad Kakkar, Babbar made his television debut in commercials for a range of items, including Nestle KitKat.

In 2016, after overcoming his drug addiction, he enrolled in an acting programme at the Jeff Goldberg Studio, where he studied method acting. The Guitar, a short film, was Patil Babbar’s first job following the course. Born on November 28, 1986, Pratik Babbar is the son of actor-politician Raj Babbar and actress Smita Patil. When Prateik was born, his mother passed away from problems during labour. Prateik grew up in Bombay with his maternal grandparents. In interviews, he has stated that he had a tense connection with his father as a child since he was “always busy with his other family”. But he also mentioned that once Prateik reached adulthood, he and his father made up.

Prateik Babbar Individual Life
In 2011, he started dating British actress Amy Jackson while they were filming Ekk Deewana Tha. The following year, they called it quits. After battling substance misuse in 2013, which was a problem Babbar had previously faced, he underwent treatment and counselling and has remained sober ever since.
After dating for a while, Babbar wed film producer Sanya Sagar on January 23, 2019. In January 2023, the couple filed for divorce after separating in 2020. Prateik Babbar became engaged to actor Priya Banerjee in January 2024.
