Indian actor Manoj Pahwa was born on December 8, 1963,. Manoj Pahwa is well known for playing Bhatia in the comic series Office Office (2001). As a character actor, he has appeared in more than 70 movies, including Mulk (2018), Article 15 (2019), 7½ Phere (2005), Being Cyrus (2005), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Dabangg 2 (2012), Jolly LLB (2013), and Dil Dhadakne Do (2015).
Manoj Pahwa Childhood And Schooling
Pahwa grew up in New Delhi in a Punjabi household. Following Partition, his father moved to India from West Punjab, Pakistan (an earlier region of India). Manoj Pahwa received his education at New Delhi’s Daryaganj National Public School. Pahwa said in an interview that he moved into the Lakshmi Nagar neighborhood of East Delhi after his father constructed a home for them. His father encouraged him to become involved in the family business, which sold car batteries. In his late 20s, Pahwa moved to Bombay, then known as Mumbai.

Manoj Pahwa co-starred in the TV series Hum Log with actress Seema Bhargava, with whom he is married. He resides in Versova, Mumbai, with his son Mayank Pahwa and daughter Manukriti Pahwa. His two siblings, Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak Kapur, are actresses. His son Mayank Pahwa married Sanah Kapur on March 02, 2022, and his daughter Manukriti Pahwa married Ruhaan Kapoor in September 2023. Sanah and Ruhaan are half-siblings of actor Shahid Kapoor and the grandchildren of seasoned character actor Dina Pathak.
Manoj Pahwa Career
In the early days of Indian television, Pahwa made his television debut in the popular serial Hum Log. He went on to act in several comedy series and was given significant roles in Just Mohabbat (1996–2000) and Office Office (2001).

His first feature film role was in Tere Mere Sapne (1996). Since then, he has played character roles in over 50 feature films and TV shows. He is renowned for his comedic timing and antics, although he never uses the “fat joke” kind of humor.
In the first scene of Sajid Khan’s anthology horror film Darna Zaroori Hai (2006), he portrayed the starring role. Manoj Pahwa met the local producers in Chandigarh while filming Pankaj Kapoor’s 2011 feature Mausam, and this led to the release of his first Punjabi film, Heer & Hero.
