Boman Irani, an Indian actor, producer, filmmaker, photographer, and voice artist, was born on December 2, 1959. He has worked in Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi films in addition to Hindi films. Having acted in more than 100 movies, he is one of the most well-known character actors in Hindi cinema. Irani is the recipient of an IIFA and a Filmfare Award. Boman Irani used to take pictures of school football and cricket events while working at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, and he would sell them for twenty to thirty rupees until he got married. Irani kept up his photographic career and requested permission to cover the World Boxing Championships in Mumbai as the photographer from Aspy Adajania, the Indian Boxing Association’s then-president. Irani promised to work at Adajania’s office in exchange for covering the event, even though Adajania had initially refused him. Up until Adajania ultimately named him the Indian Boxing Association’s official photographer, he kept covering other state boxing contests.
Irani would later go on to become the team photographer for the Norwegian Boxing Team, taking the necessary pictures of Ole Klemetsen, the boxer from Norway. Irani used his Pentax K1000 to capture the images.
Career as an actress (1981–1983)
Irani studied under acting teacher Hansraj Siddhia from 1981 to 1983 because he was passionate about performing during his school years.

Actor Alyque Padamsee served as Irani’s tutor. Irani made numerous stage appearances, including in Roshni, which was performed at the Versova Regional Theater. Additionally, he performed in numerous television series, including Family Ties and Mahatma vs. Gandhi, in which he played Gandhi after actor Darshan Jariwala declined the part.
Career in movies (2000–present)
In 2000, Irani began performing in motion pictures. He made several appearances in advertisements for Fanta, Ambuja Cements, and CEAT Limited.
Boman Irani received positive reviews from critics for his tiny but important role in Darna Mana Hai. He appeared in a scene with Saif Ali Khan in the critically acclaimed movie. Spiral Bound
Irani launched Spiral Bound, a masterclass, in 2020 with the intention of bringing together novice and experienced screenwriters. Spiral Bound’s inaugural workshop was led by screenwriter Alexander Dinelaris. Throughout the COVID-19 epidemic, the masterclass was conducted virtually.
