In addition to working in several Indian television series, he has performed in films in the languages of Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. Ashutosh Rana is renowned for playing antagonistic parts.

On November 10, 1967, Rana was born in Gadarwara, Madhya Pradesh. As a child, he resided in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He received his degree from Madhya Pradesh’s Dr. Hari Singh Gaur University.

He is the relative of Indian politician Rameshwar Neekhra. Renuka Shahane, an actress, is his wife. Satyendra and Shauryaman are their two sons.
