Former Indian actor Armaan Kohli. Best recognized for his portrayal in Jaani Dushman, he is the son of actress Nishi and film director Rajkumar Kohli.

Actress Nishi and film director Rajkumar Kohli are the parents of Kohli. Up until his Class IX dropout, he attended Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School in Chembur. As a young performer, Kohli starred in two of his father’s films, Raaj Tilak (1984) and Badle Ki Aag (1982).
Armaan Kohli Career
In 1992, Armaan made his feature film debut as the lead actor in his father’s film Virodhi. He was scheduled to star in Deewana opposite the late actress Divya Bharti, but he left the movie after the first schedule of filming was completed. Shah Rukh Khan was then cast as his replacement, and Deewana went on to become a box office hit. Shah Rukh Khan ultimately won the main part in Baazigar, which Kohli was also considered for. In a similar vein, he chose not to participate in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, therefore Parmeet Sethi ultimately took his place.

Following a complaint alleging physical violence from his girlfriend Neetu Randhawa, Armaan Kohli was taken into custody by Mumbai Police in June 2018. She later withdrew her lawsuit, though. The Narcotics Control Bureau detained Kohli in August 2021 for having 1.2 grams of cocaine in his possession. After a year in jail, he was released on bond in September 2022.
