Born on January 1, 1985, Akshay Oberoi is an Indian-American actor from the United States who primarily works in Hindi cinema. Oberoi acted in his first major role in Rajshri Productions’ film Isi Life Mein (2010), following his childhood performance in the comedy-drama American Chai (2002). Oberoi’s work has won praise from critics.
Akshay Oberoi Childhood, Family, And Schooling
The United States’ Akshay Oberoi was born in Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey, on January 1, 1985. Akshay Oberoi completed his high school and middle school education at Newark Academy before enrolling in Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore to earn a bachelor’s degree in theater arts and economics. Additionally, he finished acting classes at Playhouse West in Los Angeles and Stella Adler in New York City, where he was trained in the Meisner method.

He trained as an actor under The Addams Family’s John Astin during his schooling. Akshay Oberoi also attended Broadway Dance Center to study hip-hop, jazz, and ballet. After relocating to India, he trained under Kishore Namit Kapoor and performed in plays at the renowned Prithvi Theatre.
Since Krishan Oberoi, Akshay’s father, is the brother of actor Suresh Oberoi, Akshay is Vivek Oberoi’s first cousin.
Akshay Oberoi Career
Initially, Oberoi worked with Makrand Deshpande at the renowned Prithvi Theatre in Juhu. Makrand first gave him backstage work before offering him a role in Miss Beautiful.
Subsequently, Oberoi debuted in Sooraj Barjatya’s film Isi Life Mein. The movie did not do well at the box office when it was first released. Critics did, however, commend Oberoi for his performance in the movie. “The lead pair is the only noteworthy aspect of the film,” said Bollywood Hungama’s Taran Adarsh. There is no denying Akshay Oberoi’s skill. In addition to having a strong on-screen presence, he also behaves really well.

After his debut feature film came out, Oberoi transitioned to television work. He portrayed the title character in Bejoy Nambiar’s MTV Rush in 2012. After seeing Oberoi’s work on the show, Nambiar offered him a role in his second movie, which was a Tamil adaptation of the suspense thriller Pizza. When Pizza was published on July 18, 2014, critics once again applauded Oberoi.

In the criminal genre, Oberoi plays the stereotypical truant son with a great deal of empathy and less compassion. He is shown abusing a prostitute severely in a bath tub scene. Akshay Oberoi Individual Llfe
Oberoi wed Jyothi Vynatheya, a Dalberg Global Development Advisors strategy consultant, on March 24, 2011. Jyothi and Akshay met in Newark Academy. A son is born to them.
