Adil Khan is a Norwegian actor and dancer who was born in Oslo, Norway on February 3, 1983. His Urdu name is عادل خان, pronounced [ˈaːd̪ɪl xaːn]. In 2006, he was the winner of TVNorge’s Dansefeber .

Adil Khan Life In Its Early Stages

Oslo is where Adil Khan was born in Norway. He spent his early years living at Munkelia. Subsequently, his family relocated to Grønland and afterwards to a neighbourhood near Ullevål Stadion. Khan’s mother is a Pashtun with origins in Afghanistan, while his father is a native of Pakistan’s Punjab state. Deeyah Khan, a human rights activist and film filmmaker, has a younger brother named Khan.

Khan received an invitation to perform Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror” in 2009 for President Barack Obama’s half-sister Auma Obama. NRK1 organised the programme in conjunction with an effort to raise money for Africa.

Khan and his buddies started the dance ensemble Floor Knights in 1999. Khan previously resided in Copenhagen, where he was a part of the Natural Effects breakdance ensemble. He’s taken first place in a number of dance events both domestically and internationally, including the Norwegian championship B-boy Rumble 1999, the Scandinavian Battle of the Year 2001, and the Scandinavian championship Time 2 Battle in Malmö.

His big break came in 2006 when he emerged victorious in the first season of Dansefeber, the national dance competition in Norway. Adil Khan moved to Los Angeles and joined Quest Crew, the winners of the third season of America’s Best Dancing Crew, after winning season 1 of Dansefeber.

Adil Khan began getting offers for performing roles from national Norwegian theatres after winning Dansefeber. In 2006, he made his stage debut as Bernardo in West Side Story at Oslo Nye Teater. In 2007, he went back to Norway. The Nutcracker was the first play to be performed after his arrival, and there were a few more after that. Khan was nominated for a Hedda Award in the best male role category after receiving critical acclaim for his portrayal of Mowgli in The Jungle Book. Khan is the youngest nominee for an award in Norway’s history as an actor.

Khan presented the entertainment show Adils hemmelige dansere, which translates to “Adil’s secret dancers.” This was a two-part series that NRK1 broadcast in 2013 and 2014. A Norwegian adaptation of Ashley Banjo’s Secret Street Crew was called Adils Hemelige Dansere. Both shows received nominations for the Gullruten Award for best reality television.

Adil Khan was a judge on the fourth series of Norske Talenter in 2011 and the fifth series in 2012 . The Norwegian adaptation of the Got Talent series is called Norske Talenter, or Norwegian Talents. Performers of all ages, including singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and others, compete for a designated prize in this talent event. TV 2 has been presenting the show since 2008.
