Tania Zaetta is an Australian actress and television presenter who was born on November 17, 1970.

Tania Zaetta Childhood

Zaetta is the granddaughter of amateur botanist James Howard Browne and was born to an Australian mother and an Italian father. She was raised in Merbein, Victoria, during her formative years. Her family owned a brick manufacturing company in that area. Julia Zaetta, the editor of Better Homes and Gardens, is related to Tania.

Tania Zaetta Career

Zaetta costarred with Ian Turpie in the Australian run of Supermarket Sweep from 1992 to 1994. Zaetta and Mike Whitney co-hosted the adventure series Who Dares Wins on the Seven Network from 1996 to 1998.

In 1999, Zaetta got one of six supporting parts in the Australian version of Baywatch, which ran briefly, starring David Hasselhoff as triathlete Kendra. Tania Zaetta starred in a minor role in the Australian TV series Pizza in the 2000s.

Every week, Zaetta and Jason Plato co-hosted the British prime-time television program Mission Implausible, which pitted the two hosts against one another in a series of tasks. Filming for the film Just Like U began in April 2010 on the Sunshine Coast with Zaetta. Who Needs Prince Charming? is a self-realization book for women written by Sydney-based author Amanda Cole. It included writings from 35 Australian women, including Cindy Pan, Bianca Dye, Zaetta, Kathryn Eisman, Molly Contogeorge, and Camilla Franks.

Tania Zaetta competed in Season 2 of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia in 2012, one of twelve celebrities. She was the third well-known person that Mr. Bouris had fired in the series.

Together with Grant Hilton, Zaetta co-founded the nonprofit Peace for the Children. When it was discovered that “Peace for the Children” was not a registered charity and that less than 25% of its revenue had been allocated to charitable causes—the bulk of donations going toward covering expenses—the Office of Fair Trading opened an investigation in March 2011. Tania was exonerated on June 7th of the charges that she had solicited contributions via Peace for the Children, an unlicensed organization.

Australian Defense Force visit in dispute

Angry Anderson, The Wolverines, 12 members of the Royal Australian Navy band, and other artists accompanied Zaetta on her early 2008 tour of Australian Defence Force facilities in Afghanistan and Iraq. Following the tour, reports in the media surfaced claiming Zaetta had slept with an Australian Special Air Service Regiment member (SASR). Zaetta and the other members of the traveling group instantly refuted this. The Department of Defense offered a sincere apologies the next day. The case was resolved out-of-court with Zaetta in September 2009 for an unknown amount.

The Celebrity Apprentice

In 2012, Zaetta made an appearance on Celebrity Apprentice with David Hasselhoff, her former Baywatch co-star. Despite being the third individual to be “fired” from the show, she managed to earn more than $70,000 for charity prior to her exit.

After IVF, Zaetta and her partner Chris Rogers welcomed twins into their family in September 2018. At the time, she was 48 years old.
