Indian actor, director, and producer Soubin Shahir was born on October 12, 1983, and is active in Malayalam film. In 2003, he started his cinematic career as an assistant director, working with multiple filmmakers. In 2013, Soubin made his screen debut in Annayum Rasoolum in a supporting capacity. In 2017, he directed the play Parava for the first time.

It went on to win multiple accolades from critics and break multiple box office records, making it the highest grossing Malayalam movie ever as well as the first in the history of the industry to make over ₹200 crore. It became one of the 2024 highest-grossing Indian movies as well. Along with being a partner in Parava Films, he is a producer of popular films including Manjummel Boys.

Soubin Shahir tied the knot with his fiancée, Jamia Zaheer, on December 16, 2017. Based in Kochi, Jamia works as a marketing professional . In May 2019, a son was born to the couple.
