Film producer Krishika Lulla hails from India. Toonpur Ka Superrhero, the first live-action animation film in India, was released in December 2010; Krishika was the producer.

2011 proved to be a prosperous year for Lulla as she managed to bag two more films: Desi Boyz, which starred Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, and Chitrangada Singh, and the highly regarded Chalo Dilli directed by Shashant Shah , a lighthearted slice of life comedy starring Lara Dutta and Vinay Pathak. Krishika of Desi Boyz introduced the gifted Rohit Dhawan, David Dhawan’s son, to directing for the first time.

The Anand L. Rai-directed movie Raanjhanaa, which starred Sonam Kapoor, Dhanush, and Abhay Deol, was produced in 2013 by Krishika. Both moviegoers and critics gave the movie favorable reviews. An ensemble cast that included Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Tusshar Kapoor, Ravi Kishan, and Dolly Ahluwalia appeared in another Krishika production, Bajatey Raho.

Together with renowned director Anand L. Rai, Krishika presented Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015, which went on to become one of the year’s biggest hits. Their collaboration was furthered with Mudassar Aziz’s Happy Bhag Jayegi[8], a family comedy that debuted on August 19, 2016, and starred Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal, and Momal Sheikh.

The musical drama Banjo, which starred Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri and was directed by the multiple national award-winning Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, was produced by Krishika in 2016. Banjo was released globally on September 23rd.

Having already acted in a number of Bollywood productions, Krishika has ventured into the world of regional cinema and supported two Marathi films: Phuntroo, directed by National Award-winning Sujay Dahake, is a sci-fi romantic love story that is a first for Marathi cinema; Jara Hatke, which stars Mrinal Kulkarni, Indraneil Sengupta, Siddharth Menon, and Shivani Rangole, is a lovely tale of human relationships; she co-produced both films with Ravi Jadhav. These films were released earlier this year (2016). Krishika recently celebrated the opening of Dashanzi, a new Asian restaurant at the JW Marriott in Juhu, Mumbai, in her capacity as a brand ambassador.
