Actor, producer, and businessman Sohum Shah hails from India and appears in Hindi movies. Sohum Shah first appeared on screen in the 2009 movie Baabarr, in which he played the antagonist, and in the 2012 National Award–winning movie Ship of Theseus, which was made by his production company, Recyclewala Films.

Shah made his film debuts in Talvar (2015) and Simran (2017). His movie Tumbbad was well-received by critics.
Sohum Shah Life And work
Sri Ganganagar is where Sohum Shah was born in Rajasthan. Once his real estate company was established, he moved to Mumbai to pursue his filmmaking career. In order to produce content-driven movies, he founded Recyclewala Films, his own production company. In the highly regarded Ship of Theseus, his debut picture, he portrayed a stockbroker who was socially awkward. He was the recipient of the Ship of Theseus National Award for Best Producer. He was then offered a police part in Meghna Gulzar’s Talvar, which was inspired by the double murder case from Noida in 2008.
Shah and Kangana Ranaut were cast in Hansal Mehta’s Simran in 2017. And Shah’s most ambitious effort to date, Tumbbad, which he worked on for six to seven years, was released on October 12, 2018, to overwhelmingly positive reviews from both reviewers and fans. Sohum Shah wrapped shooting Sanaa, starring Radhika Madan and Pooja Bhatt, and then started dubbing for National Award-winning director Sudhanshu Saria.
