Ajey Nagar was born on June 12, 1999 in Faridabad, India. Ajey Nagar is an Indian rapper, YouTuber, and streamer. On his channel CarryMinati, he is well known for his roasting videos, comedy sketches, and responses to numerous online topics. CarryisLive, his other channel, specialises in gaming and live streams. He holds the title of most-subscribed individual YouTuber in Asia as of August 2023 with over 40 million subscribers.

His parody film “YouTube vs TikTok – The End” that was uploaded in May 2020 generated debate on YouTube. The video was taken down by YouTube for breaking the terms of service of the website, claiming things like cyberbullying and harassment.

In May 2020, Nagar posted a contentious YouTube video with the provocative title “YouTube Vs TikTok-The End” in reaction to a TikTok user named Amir Siddiqui’s Instagram post in which he criticised YouTube creators for mocking TikTok users. Based on several reports of harassment and cyberbullying, YouTube removed it, citing violations of its terms of service. LGBTQ+ advocates had filed many concerns regarding the video’s harsh homophobic or transphobic content.

Many of Nagar’s supporters criticised YouTube for its actions, and his name appeared in a number of new trending hashtags as a result of the removal. Millions of people saw the video as a result, and a deliberate attempt was made to review bomb TikTok on Google Play Store. Other Nagar supporters defended YouTube’s choice to take down the video. Nagar responded further by posting the music video “Yalgaar” in June 2020, renewing her criticism on Siddiqui.
